Hannah Johnson's Blog

About

Everyone tells me that I am such a complex person, but I will try my best to explain myself.

My name is Hannah Johnson.  I was born and raised on my family farm in a small town called Yadkinville.  I have two siblings.  My sister is younger than me, and will graduate high school this spring.  My brother is older than me.  He is married and has two children named Makenzie and Nicholas.  Makenzie is in third grade and Nicholas is in kindergarten.  I spend a lot of my free time with them.  I am 5 feet and 1 inch tall.  I am often made fun of for being so short!  I have natural brown hair, which I like to keep at about shoulder length.  I have hazel colored eyes.  Sometimes my eyes are brown, and other times they are as green as emeralds (simile).  Everyone always tells me that I look just like my dad.

Three of my most favorite things are the beach, summertime, and spending time with my family.  I really enjoy experiencing all three of them at the same time!  I also like going barefoot, or being able to wear my flip flops.  The sunshine in the summertime makes me smile.  I absolutely love participating in outdoor activities, and the summer allows me to do much more with the ones that I love most!

I absolutely despise being sick, even though I find myself that way more times than I would like.  I do not like having to miss a day or school or work, because then I feel that I get behind on all of my work.  Rainy days are also one of my strongest dislikes, because they make me feel sick.  I also hate being around people with negative attitudes, because it is easy to be brought down by all the negative comments.  I would much rather be around happy and positive people!

I am a busy bee!  I am constantly doing something to keep me busy.  I am a hard worker and like to complete tasks to the best of my ability.  I am also a planner.  I have my days/weeks/months planned out way in advance, and I like to write them all down in my calendar.  I am very helpful to others that need my assistance.  However, I am very opinionate and will never be afraid to tell somehow how I really feel about something.  I am happy most of the time, and my friends tell me that I am still a kid at heart.  I love to relax and have fun, but I can also be a serious adult when I need to be.

It is amazing how being a senior carries so many confusing emotions. I am with you there but I cannot wait to be working with children doing what I have always dreamed of.

Your Acrostic poem is very simple but very much you.

I know what you mean about being happy, sad and glad that it’s senior year. Who knows what will happen after this year. Great acrostic poem. I love that i can read it either top to bottom or the other way!

Nice poem, Hannah. Your acrostic poem, however, is incomplete. Please complete that poem with your last name.

I am with you on going to the beach with the family and just enjoying the summer. I am so ready for summer to be here. I cannot wait for vacation time either. Like you I hate the idea of illness. I pray we can all stay healthy and happy as we continue through this year and our lives.

    Hannah,
I really like how open and honest you are. When I read that you are very opinionated and you will speak your mind I smiled. I value that in someone. I may not always like to hear what someone has to say about me, when it comes to negative things, but I respect someone who can say what they think. I have problems speaking up which causes problems for me. People tend to not see me for who I am because I am so quiet. Always say what is on your mind! :) People will respect you for it. Your students will look up to you.
